We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Gillian & Jonathan Wilson on the 31st of January this year. It was before a mention of virus or lockdown came to our shores and little did we know then what was ahead of us.
We had great fun during the morning as Gillian along with her bridesmaids Vivien & Karen got ready in Wilkinstown. The craic really took off when our good friend and videographer Shay Casserley arrived to start documenting the day.
There was a beautiful ceremony at Bellasis Presbyterian Church by the wonderful and lovely Rev Jean Mackeral. Our bride surprised the congregation by singing also during the ceremony. Gillian sure has a beautiful voice.
Then it was off to the wonderful Crover House Hotel on the shores of Lough Sheelin. Every wedding we have photographed at this amazing venue has been superb but this one was exceptional.
Music was supplied by the talented Madisons Wedding Band who kept the dancefloor full as guests danced through the night and into the small hours.
We finished off the day by capturing a stunning nightshot of Gillian & Jonathan before we said our goodbyes. From all of us at MeathPhotos Wedding Photography we wish them both many years of happiness together.
