Ciara & James | Real Wedding | Annebrook House Hotel

Updated: Mar 8, 2021

Who said that a Covid wedding cannot be fun! Fair enough, they might not have had the numbers they would have hoped for, but for Ciara & James, their special day was magical from beginning to end!

The ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart Church in Laytown, County Meath, and was celebrated beautifully by Fr. Denis McNelis with both Ciara & James' parents attending.

The church is located right by the sea and although the weather wasn't kind on the day we still managed to get some beautiful photos by the beach. We did manage to get some great outdoor photos, but not on the day, more about that at the end of this blog.

The family reception took place at the wonderful Annebrook House Hotel in Mullingar. We have to say that Orla, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful, and they pulled out all the stops with a fantastic reception with red carpet, lanterns, and champagne on arrival just to start with. The barman even made Ciara her favourite cocktail complimentary as well as a Summer Punch for the guests. The food, ambiance, and close family around made for the perfect setting.

And of course, we couldn't leave Annebrook House without taking our signature night shot on the beautiful steps leading up to the Georgian house.

As mentioned earlier the weather wasn't too kind to us on the day itself. I really wanted them to have as many beautiful memories as possible so I offered Ciara & James a complimentary photo shoot for the next available 'sunny day'. I'm glad that they did decide to take up the offer and we met again the following Saturday to get some beautiful photos at the majestic Bective Abbey in County Meath. They were such a fun couple to work with from beginning to end and I wish Ciara & James many years of happiness as they start their new journey together.
